  2. I could eat a million pretzel crisps.

Strangely enough, I could eat a trillion pretzel crisps with assorted meats and cheeses. Alas, I only have the crisps.

  3. Aliens

Watching Aliens on Goo Ray. Jim Cameron told me that the 1990 special edition is the way he intended it, so I’ll take his word for it.

That being said, it’s crazy how the Alien saga has had such celebrated directors for it’s films (not so much when they came out but now)

Alien is Ridley Scott, of course.

    Aliens is James Cameron.

    Alien 3 is David Fincher.

Alien: Resurrection is Jean-Pierre Jeunet. (and written by Joss Whedon)

  4. I think one of my generation’s biggest problems is that we make ourselves believe that the responsibility of being mature is synonymous with growing up. Personally, I’m a kid at heart. I read comics, play video games and still watch Spongebob. Yet, I have accepted that at a certain age (of which I have already passed) the responsibility of becoming, not an adult but, a functioning member of society is all but inevitable and there is no reason to fight it. We can’t continue acting like we deserve everything and that every emotion we feel will never be replaced. Our backbones have been replaced by a spring and when it is tested, our emotions go back and forth and side to side. How will anyone take us seriously if we cannot control our own emotions? If we can’t overcome rather small speed bumps in life, like the end of a relationship or rejection, how should we expect to function as human beings in a constantly changing and very aggressive world? I believe that your life is worthless if you leave the world in a worse state than it was in when you entered it. How will you change someone else’s life when you can’t get past moments in your life that are microscopic compared to the long run? Moving on from something is not the same as forgetting it. We need to remember it and let it shape us but not control us.

On a side note, if you want a look inside of an amazing mind during a troubling time, read “The Crack Up”. It’s a collection of notes, letters, essays and observations from Fitzgerald

I swear that the next place I move into, I’m buying a puppy before I get any furniture. It’s been way too long since I’ve had a dog.

  10. So who would have thought that after years of creepy old guys literally waiting by the minute for the Olsen twins to become legal that one of them would actually start dating a creepy old guy?

A rare natural phenomenon turns one of Austria’s most beautiful hiking trails into a 10 meter-deep lake, for half the year.
Located at the foot of the Hochschwab Mountains, in Tragoess, Styria, Green Lake is one of the most bizarre natural phenomena in the world. During the cold winter months, this place is almost completely dry, and used as a country park where hikers love to come and spend some time away from urban chaos. But as soon as temperatures rise, the snow and ice covering the mountaintops begin to melt, and the water pours down, filling the basin below with crystal-clear water.
Water levels go from one-two meters at most, to over 10 meters, in the early summer. The waters of Green Lake are highest in June, when this extraordinary place is invaded by divers, curious to see what a mountain park looks like underwater. Fish swimming over wooden benches, a grass-covered bottom, trees, roads, roads and even bridges create a surreal setting that feels like it belongs on dry ground. That’s because for half of the year, that’s exactly where it’s at.
